Antoinette M. Mugar serves as Vice President of Harlem Park West Community Association. She currently serves as Chair of the Social Justice Subcommittee for the Social Determinants of Health Task Force. She is also a Baltimore City police chaplain. Antoinette is a registered nurse who places an emphasis on community-based wellness by partnering with other like-minded community-based organizations and stakeholders who are committed to responding to the needs of the oppressed and underserved. Antoinette completed her Associates in Science degree in Nursing at Baltimore County Community College (Essex Campus) in 2003, and her BSN in 2014 at Notre Dame of Maryland University. She returned to Notre Dame and completed her master’s in nursing education in 2017. Currently, Antoinette is working to educate Harlem Park and Sandtown residents on the importance of voting by registering voters. Antoinette is also serving as a steering committee member for the Sandtown-Winchester Harlem Park Master Plan which is committed to bring fair and equitable housing to Sandtown and Harlem Park communities.
