Pauline Charles was born and raised on the east side of Baltimore City. Pauline has been a member of the Darley Park community for over 40 years where she resides with her husband and raised her two children. She is affectionately known to the youth in her community as Aunt Ham. She is honored to be the President of the Darley Park Community. Since retiring from the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, Pauline has dedicated her time to the betterment of her community. During her tenure as President, she has been able to take a full block that was once neglected and turn it into a twenty-first century playground and park for community use. In 2013, Darley Park got the first recreation center that was built in Baltimore in over 25 years. Pauline is an advocate that brings employment opportunities, homeowner awareness, mental health awareness, and support to senior citizens to her community. Pauline’s dedication and hard work is confirmation that she believes that “The Sky Is The Limit” for her community.
