Danelle Pinder

Danelle P. Pinder was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. Danelle earned an Associate of Arts in Sociology from The Community College of Baltimore County in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts in Nonprofit Organizational Management, with a minor in Entrepreneurship, from the University of Maryland University College in 2018. Dedicated to her city, she also serves as a community liaison for the Baltimore City Council President’s Office.
Pinder founded Excellence & Ambition Inc. As founder and executive director since 2012, she oversees a staff who manages the organization’s various programs teaching professional development, and financial literacy. Some of these programs include Youth Entrepreneurship Program, Young Millionaires in Training, Youth Build Community, and Community Leadership Engagement & Reciprocity Foundation. She also serves on the intercessory ministry at Fresh Start Church in Glen Burnie MD. While working to establish Excellence & Ambition Inc., Pinder worked as the Program Director at Sisters Saving the City, located in the Park Heights neighborhood of Baltimore City from 2017–2020. Prior to this assignment she worked as the Interim Program Director and Site Coordinator with Living Classrooms.
Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is most proud of being able to help the homeless teen population during the corona virus pandemic. Her work was able to provide them with housing, food security, and support. She is a wife and mother of four daughters, and is a proud woman of God who dedicates her life to caring for others. Danelle is driven to provide a constructive environment in which young people can grow, learn, and excel.
